- Metric/English ruler or rulers
- Paper and pencil
- Something that measures the volme of a liquid, preferably in mL or cm3
- Water
- Table syrup
- Vegetable oil
- A large glass
- A mass scale (Should read 0-500 g. You can buy these as a supermarket.)
- Spoon
Module 2
- A wooden Board, about 1 meter long
- A pencil
- A stopwatch
- A pile of books between 6 and 9 cm
- A ball
- A wooden board

- A few extra books
- A piece of masking tape or electrical tape
- A Ball that will easily roll
- An uncarpeted floor
Module 3
- A large book
- A small piece of paper
- A ruler
- Another person to help you
Module 5
- A rubber band
- A stopwatch
- A person to help you
Module 6
- Someone to help you
- A small beanbag, or any object
- A sidewalk, driveway, or long, flat yard
- Three rocks
Module 7
- A large nut and bolt
- A board or something that has a hole big enough for the bolt to fit through
- Either one wrench that has a long handle or three different wrenches that are of different length but all fit the nut.
- Another wrench or pair of pliers that can hold onto the head of the bolt.
- A long (1/2 meter) board
- A block of wood or metal that can fit onto the surface of the board. If you do not have a block of wood or metal, try a small carboard box.
- A meter stick
Module 9
- A piece of string at least 25 cm long
- A ruler
- Some tape
- A mass to hang on the string

- Two helpers
- Two eggs
- A reasonably large board or some other hard, flat surface like a cookie sheet
- A fitted bed sheet

- A spring with loops on each end

- Some sand, kitty litter or fine gravel

- A flat mirror

- Some cellophane tape

- A plastic lid that fits over the glass
- A paper clip
- 2 5-cm x 1.5-cm strips of aluminum foil
- A balloon
- A pair of pliers

- A 1.5 Volt battery
- Aluminum foil

- A compass
- Some aluminum foil

- A helper
- A steel or iron nail
