This is our advanced biology course. Combined with Exploring Creation With Biology , it gives the student the equivalent of a university biology course. In other words, these two courses together cover the entire "advanced placement" (AP) curriculum. In order to take this course, the student MUST have completed a first-year biology course AND a first-year chemistry course. It covers both the anatomy and the physiology of the human body’s 11 organ systems in detail.

Please note : the reproductive system is covered in detail, including frank (not pornographic) illustrations and descriptions.

Prerequisites: Students need to have completed one year each of high school biology and chemistry before taking this advanced biology course.

Format: 2 volume set

1) The first book, hardbound, is the student text, which contains all student material, on-your-own questions and solutions, laboratory exercises, and chapter study guides. Color illustrations and diagrams.

2) The second book, softbound, is the solutions and tests manual, which contains answers to chapter study guides, tests, and test solutions. B&W.

1. Microscope labs - Require a microscope such as the one recommended for Exploring Creation With Biology and special prepared slides. The prepared slide kit is discussed here .
   
2. Dissection labs - Require a dissection kit such as the one recommended for Exploring Creation With Biology and special specimens. The specimen set is discussed here .
   
3. Coloring Book Exercises - These are probably the most important 'lab' exercisese for the student to perform. There is a lot to memorize in this course, and the coloring book will help the student quite a bit. This is NOT a juvenile coloring book. It is the same coloring book used in many university Anatomy and Physiology courses. The cost is $20.00, and it can be ordered in the shopping cart.
